Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Internal Audit Senior to execute engagements assessing internal controls, risk management and compliance. The role involves planning, fieldwork, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and drive process improvements. Travel approximately 30% is required.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in internal audit or operations, with a CPA/CMA/CIA preferred and manufacturing exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years work experience in operations or internal audit/public accounting.
• CPA, CMA or CIA preferred.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit engagements including planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Perform risk-based audits via focused interviews and walkthroughs.
• Draft findings and remediation plans with auditees.
• Support external audit work (EY) including testing and inventory counts.
• Identify control gaps and opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
