Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Sr. Manager, Internal Audit to strengthen the control environment and risk management across DePuy Synthes and related businesses. You will lead audits, partner with Finance and senior leaders, and deliver independent assurance to enable sustainable growth.

The role offers high visibility in a transforming organization, exposure to global operations, and travel up to 20%. A CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is preferred for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of complex internal audit engagements across financial, operational, compliance, and IT risk areas.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls; identify opportunities to strengthen governance and risk management.
• Manage, coach, and develop audit team members with performance feedback.
• Communicate audit findings, root causes, and remediation plans to stakeholders.
• Monitor timely completion of corrective actions and report trends to senior management.
• Support enterprise risk assessment activities and annual internal audit plan.
• Ensure activities comply with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in audit methodologies and tools.
