Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join a growing international Shared Services Centre. You will own GL activities, support month-end close, and help drive improvements across finance operations.

The role requires 2–5 years in accounting (GL/RtR), strong Excel skills, and English at least B2. A hybrid work setup is offered with 4 office days per month across European locations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in GL/RtR.
• Experience in SSC/BPO is an advantage.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Very good command of English (B2+).
• Detail-oriented with analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate entries.
• Prepare and review journal entries for financial records.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate differences.
• Support month-end close processes and reporting.
• Prepare documentation for audits and internal records.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge transfer.
