Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Jawor, Poland, is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to shape and implement buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and site solutions for safe, efficient, and sustainable production.

You will lead infrastructure projects from concept to handover, define scope and cost targets, manage procurement, and coordinate internal stakeholders, designers, suppliers, and contractors in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental, Electrical or Mechanical field.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, or executing construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong project-management, analytical, planning, cost-control and organizational skills.
• Able to work with international and cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead infrastructure projects from initial concept to final handover.
• Define project scope, technical requirements, schedules, and cost targets.
• Manage the procurement process, including tender documents, bid clarification, and technical evaluation.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, technical and execution services, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Supervise project execution and ensure the required quality, safety, documentation, timeline, and budget.
• Manage risks, changes, commissioning, acceptance, and handover to the user and facility management.
• Track project progress and provide clear status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
