Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Jawor invites a Civil Project Engineer to shape the future of Mercedes-Benz Vans by planning and delivering buildings, infrastructure, and site utilities for safe, efficient production.

You will collaborate with international experts and internal teams, manage procurement and handover processes, and drive sustainability and energy efficiency across the plant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in planning/coordinating construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project-management, analytical and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness for occasional international travel.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead infrastructure projects from initial concept to final handover.
• Define project scope, technical requirements, specifications, schedules, and cost targets.
• Manage the procurement process, including tender documents, bid clarification, and technical evaluation.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, technical and execution services, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Supervise project execution and ensure quality, safety, documentation, timeline, and budget.
• Manage risks, changes, commissioning, acceptance, and handover to user and facility management.
• Track project progress and provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
