Job summary

Sarens is seeking an ESG Manager to shape sustainability across its global organisation. You will translate ambitions into measurable actions, build reporting frameworks and help business units embed sustainability into daily operations.

Reporting to the Group SHEQ Director, you will drive governance, compliance and audits, coordinate data analysis, and support tender processes with accurate ESG information. Your work will impact safety, environment and social responsibility on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, SHEQ, compliance or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB and TCFD.
• Experience working with management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge of risk management, compliance obligations and internal control environments.
• Experience conducting or supporting internal audits and corrective action processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.
• Professional level of English, both written and spoken.
• Preferred: ESG, sustainability, SHEQ or auditing certifications.
• Preferred: Experience within engineering, construction, heavy lifting, industrial services or project-based environments.
• Preferred: Experience supporting tender processes and customer ESG assessments.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Enterprise and Supplier Development programmes.
• Preferred: Experience operating within multinational organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Sarens' ESG Strategic Framework and ESG operational plan.
• Support ESG reporting aligned with recognised frameworks including GRI, SASB and TCFD.
• Monitor ESG objectives, KPIs, risks and performance metrics across our global business.
• Coordinate ESG data collection and analysis to support informed business decisions.
• Support compliance with ESG obligations, applicable legislation and corporate commitments.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the integrated management system aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Lead or participate in ESG audits across regions, business units and projects.
• Drive corrective actions and continual improvement initiatives following audits and assessments.
• Maintain ESG-related documented information, procedures, policies and records.
• Support customer questionnaires, tender submissions and prequalification processes with accurate ESG information.
• Provide guidance to leadership, ESG committees and operational teams on sustainability topics.
• Help strengthen ESG awareness, competence and engagement across the organisation.
• Report directly to the Group SHEQ Director and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions and business functions.
