Job summary

OBI Smart Technologies in Katowice is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve a large-scale international network environment. You will focus on enterprise networking, VoIP, and WLAN infrastructure, ensuring stability while contributing to standardization and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include operating and optimizing Cisco-based network, SD-WAN and VPN solutions, VoIP systems, WLAN design, and incident management.

Qualifications

Completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (switching, routing, core/edge).
Experience with Meraki, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of VoIP systems and WLAN infrastructure.
Experience with monitoring tools, ITSM processes, and incident management.
Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills in English and Polish; readiness to hybrid work in Katowice.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco switching, routing, and store connectivity.
Support and improve SD-WAN, firewall, and connectivity solutions (Meraki, VPN, MPLS).
Administer and troubleshoot VoIP and DECT systems (Cisco CUCM, CUBE, Ascom) globally.
Design, operate, and troubleshoot WLAN environments including office and retail coverage.
Monitor infrastructure using CheckMK and Meraki Dashboard to ensure performance and stability.
Take ownership of incident management and root cause analysis, supporting escalations.
Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives, including IaC and security improvements.
