Gcore is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the CDN control plane, edge path, analytics and traffic management services. You will guide four engineering teams, shape technical priorities, and own incident response, with a focus on scalable delivery and platform reliability.

This leadership role emphasizes architecture over code and requires collaboration with Product, Support, and Maintenance to deliver results across a global edge platform.

Qualifications

• Four or more years leading software engineering teams.
• Production experience with internet infrastructure: CDN, DNS, reverse proxies, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of HTTP caching, nginx behavior, TLS/SNI, and anycast routing.
• Proven track record of owning incident response and post-incident follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead four engineering teams covering the control plane, the core edge and proxy layer, the analytics and logging platform, and DNS and traffic management.
• Own delivery on a two-week cadence: planning, commitments, and reporting on shipped work.
• Set and defend technical priorities with Product, Support and Maintenance.
• Own the incident and post-incident process for your area and run the on-call rotation.
