Job summary

CircleK is seeking a Delivery Lead, Global Data Projects, to drive a multi-year migration from legacy data platforms to Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks, coordinating across global teams to meet enterprise transformation goals.

The role requires strong delivery leadership, deep data platform knowledge, and the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans, milestones, and dependencies while maintaining governance.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience leading delivery of data initiatives in large, global organizations using Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Proven ability to plan for on-time completion and tailor methodologies, tools, and detail to the work and team.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience coordinating multi-region teams within matrixed organizations.
• Proficiency with enterprise delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, ServiceNow).
• Understanding of data migration strategies and enterprise data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of assigned workstreams within a multi-year enterprise data platform migration.
• Translate program-level objectives into actionable delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies for each workstream.
• Ensure workstream activities align with the overarching migration strategy, established architecture standards, and business priorities.
• Drive day-to-day execution, ensuring teams remain focused, unblocked, and aligned across global time zones.
• Provide delivery leadership for initiatives leveraging Azure Data Services, Snowflake, and Databricks by ensuring teams follow established delivery processes.
• Oversee migration activities—including data pipelines, data models, integrations, and consumption layers (e.g., Power BI).
• Identify and elevate gaps in delivery processes or missing standards when they impact execution.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, data governance, data science, and platform teams to ensure delivery plans support technical feasibility, quality expectations, and enterprise patterns.
• Work closely with data governance and data quality teams to ensure delivery processes incorporate required governance checkpoints, metadata expectations, and compliance steps.
