Citigroup Inc. Poland is seeking a Corporate Actions professional to source, validate and process corporate actions events, delivering a trusted golden record to institutional clients as part of a global data service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Basic executional capabilities; taking on more responsibility.
• Knowledge of multiple investment instruments including equity, fixed income and asset-backed securities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access) is desired.
• Proven success as a team player.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process coverage within EMEA (9 a.m.–5 p.m.).
• Create corporate actions golden record at security level.
• Process corporate actions into reference data system at fund level.
• Review and process client elections based on the golden record.
• Cooperate with internal/external clients and other teams in the global process.
• Perform control functions; verify transactions in accounting system; prepare summaries/reports.
• Understand product and end-to-end process for efficient interaction with management.
• Apply analytical thinking and data analysis tools to identify process improvements and support projects.
• Interpret data and contribute to recommendations for process improvement/new products/services.
