Job summary

Takeda Global Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) seeks an Associate Director, Central Controllership to lead a centralized capability. You will drive SOX compliance, balance sheet accuracy, and reconciliations while building a high-performing team across markets.

This is a global leadership role with interaction across internal controls, external audit and finance leadership. You will develop and deploy controllership standards and playbooks, partner with regional teams and lead KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of accounting, finance and/or internal-controls experience in a multinational setting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance, with experience shaping methodology.
• Excellent IFRS and technical accounting knowledge; experience with policy development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing centralized Controllership team across markets.
• Strengthen controls and SOX assurance, with remediation tracking.
• Drive close, reconciliation and reporting quality for balance sheet and P&L.
• Own standards, methodology and audit coordination across entities.
• Advance analytics, automation and continuous improvement of controls.
