Job summary

Haleon seeks a CS Science Specialist to monitor product safety across development and post-marketing settings. You will identify signals, evaluate data, and produce high-quality safety documentation aligned with global regulatory requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contributing to regulatory submissions and safety-related programme activities, ensuring comprehensive safety oversight across medicines and consumer health brands.

Qualifications

• Degree in a biomedical or healthcare-related discipline with a foundation in safety science.
• Ability to communicate scientific and safety information through clear medical writing.
• Understanding of regulatory environment and safety evaluation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety of assigned products and perform signal detection using literature reviews and case awareness tools.
• Gather and evaluate safety information from sources to investigate potential signals and document outcomes.
• Prepare safety evaluation documents with clear conclusions and respond to internal and regulatory requests.
• Contribute to safety elements of regulatory submissions for products, formulations or indications.
• Provide safety input into development programmes including real-world evidence and post-authorisation safety studies.
• Support risk minimisation and product information activities, including labelling updates.
• Prepare safety-related documentation, including Safety Data Exchange Agreements components.
• Maintain readiness to support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Represent Consumer Safety Science on cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
