Job summary

Danfoss in Grodzisk Mazowiecki invites applications for the Category Buyer role on a fixed-term replacement through May 2028. You will manage direct procurement activities, liaise with suppliers and cross-functional teams across Europe, and drive timely material availability.

The position offers a hybrid work model, 3 days in the office and 2 remote, exposure to PPAPs, material change management, and supplier onboarding. English proficiency and SAP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work with procurement data and KPIs.
• Experience with ERP systems and supplier onboarding.
• Knowledge of PPAPs and material change management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day direct procurement activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate Material Change Management and engineering changes.
• Request and negotiate quotations, pricing, and terms for components.
• Coordinate supplier PPAP activities and readiness for launches.
• Lead procurement for project ramp-ups and ramp-downs of new/old products.
• Support supplier onboarding following Danfoss standards.
• Monitor material availability and act as escalation point for logistics/quality.
• Maintain accurate procurement master data in SAP.
