Job summary

Danfoss Grodzisk Mazowiecki is seeking a Senior Category Buyer to own commercial activities within the supplier portfolio, driving cost optimization and supplier performance. You will work with Category Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to translate procurement strategies into business results.

You will develop and execute category and supplier strategies, manage supplier relationships, assess risks, and lead negotiations to improve cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing with supplier negotiations and commercial activities.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with understanding of cost analysis, TCO, and strategic sourcing principles.
• Experience in supplier performance management, risk assessment, and continuous improvement, with a structured, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management across functions.

Senior Category Buyer to join our Procurement team in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland. In this role, you will take ownership of commercial activities within your assigned supplier portfolio, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and sourcing initiatives.

Working closely with Category Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will play a key role in translating procurement strategies into business results while contributing to the continuous improvement of our supplier network.

What We’re Looking For
