Job summary

Fresenius Group seeks a senior professional to lead group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) within the Corporate segment, ensuring regulatory alignment and IT dependency mapping.

You will design and implement BCM governance, coordinate with Group IT, and drive crisis management activities to strengthen organizational resilience across a global healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, IT, security management, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in BCM, crisis management or IT service continuity.
• Strong knowledge of BCM standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS).
• Experience collaborating with IT organizations, particularly in disaster recovery and infrastructure.
• Structured, process-oriented and self-reliant way of working.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a complex, international environment.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the implementation and continuous development of group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) in the Corporate segment, considering group-wide requirements and regulatory obligations.
• You ensure the continuity of business-critical, IT-supported processes, with dependencies on central IT services.
• You plan, coordinate and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and define RTO/RPO and IT dependencies.
• You develop, maintain and standardize Business Continuity Plans (BCP), crisis management concepts and recovery strategies with relevant interfaces, particularly Group IT.
• You ensure the integration of BCM and IT Disaster Recovery, including aligned recovery sequences and minimum IT service requirements.
• You plan and manage regular tests and exercises (e.g. simulations, end-to-end tests) and derive targeted improvements.
• You establish and operate a BCM governance framework, including reporting, monitoring and tracking of measures.
• You support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with group-wide requirements and regulatory obligations.
• You contribute to crisis management and coordinate alignment between Corporate functions and Group IT.
• You promote awareness and resilience through training, communication measures and advisory support for business functions.
