Job summary

Valeo, at its Czechowice-Dziedzice plant, seeks a P1 Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams on automotive projects. You will drive profitability, manage budgets, and coordinate with customers, ensuring timely milestones and high-quality execution.

The role requires an engineering degree, automotive project leadership, and strong English skills for international reporting. This permanent, on-site position offers an opportunity to contribute to green mobility and innovative automotive

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering and Management preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in managing complex projects within the Automotive industry (OEM/OES).
• Language: English (C1 level) for negotiation and international reporting.
• Technical Mindset: Strong understanding of project finance, industrialization processes, and Design to Cost principles.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, decisiveness, and ability to challenge team readiness and handle high-pressure escalations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the achievement of profitability targets (Margin, Payback), Quality, and Production Preparation milestones.
• Secure and control project resources; functionally lead Project Team Members, setting their objectives and evaluating performance.
• Define and manage the project budget, including the preparation and submission of investment requests (CAA/IAR).
• Solve project roadblocks through cross-functional support and Project Escalation process to ensure zero delays.
• Act as the primary point of contact for local and central customer representatives, providing updates and managing changes.
• Validate timing scenarios, lead project reviews, and prepare high-level reports for PSC and governance bodies.
