Job summary

Polpharma is seeking an experienced business development professional to drive new opportunities across the global pharmaceutical and API markets. You will collaborate with international Sales, R&D, and Portfolio Management to shape strategic collaborations and growth initiatives leveraging advanced API technologies.

You will identify opportunities, lead negotiations, and support licensing and co-development projects while translating market insights into sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of the global pharmaceutical industry and/or API market.
• Proven track record in developing strategic partnerships and conducting business negotiations.
• Experience translating market insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Ability to evaluate markets, customers, and emerging business opportunities.
• Experience using market data, CRM systems, AI tools, and market intelligence resources for decision making.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect market signals to growth opportunities.
• Strategic mindset, independence, and results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across global pharmaceutical and API markets
• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
• Lead business discussions and negotiations with customers and partners worldwide
• Initiate and support licensing, co-development, and technology collaboration projects
• Contribute to the development of new business models and long-term growth platforms
• Provide business recommendations to support portfolio expansion and API growth strategies
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that may influence future business opportunities
• Leverage market data, customer insights, and analytical tools to identify and assess new growth opportunities
