Job summary

TMF Group is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Katowice team, driving efficient client service delivery within Accounting & Tax. You will work in a hybrid model, visiting the Katowice office quarterly and supporting multi-country accounting processes.

Key responsibilities include ledger accounting, period-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR processing, statutory statements, and cross-functional collaboration with Local Experts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles across AP, AR, GL, and Reporting.
• Experience in a multi-country/multi-entity environment.
• Experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP systems (D365, SAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform General Ledger accounting and reporting, including journal entries, accruals, allocations and adjustments.
• Own period-end and year-end closing activities with timely delivery of results.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet and intercompany reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities; process invoices and payments.
• Analyze and apply payments to subledgers or GL accounts; ensure accurate invoicing.
• Prepare statutory financial statements per local GAAP and corporate policies.
• Handle payment processes for TMF clients; ensure compliance and cross-country adaptability.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders; resolve operational issues.
• Support adherence to accounting standards and internal controls; identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with team members and assist as needed.
