Job summary

Bruker BSC in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a qualified General Ledger/AR specialist to join our Finance team. You will drive end-to-end processes for served locations, ensure proper documentation, and support revenue recognition, monthly reports, and SOX controls in a fast-paced international environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of GL/AR experience, a BSc in Accounting or Finance, and strong SAP ERP and Excel skills. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of GL/AR experience; US GAAP revenue recognition preferred.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); another language would be an asset.
• Degree: BSc in Accounting or Finance; strong Excel and SAP skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; high ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process for served locations according to Bruker policies.
• Review, maintain and validate status of orders; ensure proper documentation (RRC).
• Follow up on deferred revenue; extended warranty; post BS and P&L reclasses.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations to confirm accuracy.
• Monthly reporting to Corporate; perform SOX controls; monthly statistics reports.
• Support audits and other business queries.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• drive end to end process for served locations according to Bruker corporate policies.- review, maintain and validate status of orders process- ensure proper documentation in place (RRC)- follow up on deferred revenue- extended warranty- post BS and P&L Reclasses

Qualifications

To be successful in the role we need you to:

• Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/ AR work experience required (experience with US GAAP revenue recognition preferred)


• Communicate effectively and professionally in English (written and oral), other foreign language would be an asset


• Graduate with minimum of BSc. degree in Accounting or Finance


• Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise


• Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team


• Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, then make clear and timely decisions


• Proactive with the ability to manage time-dependent critical processes


• Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.


• Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
