Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Finance professional to support General Ledger processes and monthly close. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external providers to maintain robust reporting, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and strong internal controls. Hybrid work requires 2–3 days per week in the Nowy Tomyśl office, with opportunities to participate in global finance projects and to advance professional

Qualifications

• A degree in finance or accounting.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, CMA) are highly valued.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in international environments, SSC/BSC structures preferred.
• Ability to propose improvements and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support General Ledger processes and contribute to close activities.

• Support General Ledger processes and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities;
• Collaborate closely with finance and non‑finance teams, as well as external providers, to maintain and enhance shared processes, tools, and reporting activities;
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulatory standards;
• Strengthen financial processes and internal controls through continuous improvement initiatives;
• Participate in local, regional, and global finance projects as needed;
• Act as an active advocate of the finance function within the organization;
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and support ongoing improvements;
• Depending on your experience, take part in transitioning finance, tax, or accounting processes from European entities to Poland and support their stabilization;
• Operate in a hybrid work model, with 2-3 days per week working from the office in Nowy Tomyśl.

Requirements

• A degree in finance or accounting;
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, CMA) are highly valued;
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and comfort working with financial data and reporting tools;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Experience working in an international environment and preferably within SSC/BSC structures;
• Problem‑solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to propose improvements;
