Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join a Scrum team on a greenfield project. You will build scalable UI components using React/TypeScript and contribute to architecture decisions.

You should have ~5 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, and modern UI patterns, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Expertise in building responsive UI with React and Redux, WCAG-compliant, mobile-friendly.
• Deep knowledge of Redux.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture using NestJS and PostgreSQL.
• Security-focused coding in line with OWASP guidelines.
• Strong unit testing with Jest.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Scrum team on a greenfield project.

Role – how you’ll contribute

• Working witha Scrum team of Engineers on a greenfield project


• Developing software applications and solutions based on documented business and system requirements


• Understanding how applications operate, they are structured, and how customers use them


• Taking ownership of the delivery schedule and quality of results


• Providing input and estimates about the effort required to build desired functionality


• Designing applications for stability, scalability, and performance

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

• Approximately 5 years of development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript.


• Expertise in building responsive and advanced UI components compliant with WCAG standards using React, ensuring applications are well-performant and optimized for mobile devices or weak internet connection.


• Deep knowledge of Redux.


• Proven knowledge in designing and implementing microservices with NestJS and PostgreSQL, applying clean code principles and design patterns.


• Ensuring applications are secure to the highest industry standards and resistant to cyber attacks, following OWASP guidelines.


• Strong experience with unit testing using Jest to meet high quality standards.

This role requires candidates to be based in the European Union
