Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to help enterprise clients shape and execute digital transformation initiatives. You will translate complex business needs into clear, data-driven solutions and work with consultants, data engineers, and product teams across regions to influence strategy, design, and delivery outcomes.

You will collaborate on capturing objectives, documenting requirements, and building business cases while participating in client workshops and pre-sales

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments, with enterprise-scale solutions
• Proficiency in English and German for collaboration with international teams
• Strong understanding of business operations across domains and industries
• Experience with data environments (data warehouses, data lakes, data marts) and data mapping
• Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Ability to read, write, and validate SQL queries for data analysis
• Experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies within cross-functional delivery teams
• Strong requirements management, scope control, and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of business architecture concepts and project management fundamentals
• Experience supporting discovery, pre-sales, or business development as a subject-matter contributor
• Certifications in business analysis considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Capture and articulate the client's business vision, objectives, and constraints
• Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for delivery teams
• Analyze current state and model target state, identify gaps and risks
• Define and standardize requirements using best practices for elicitation, documentation, modeling, and prototyping
• Develop business cases to assess feasibility, value, and impact of proposed solutions
• Participate in client workshops and the pre-sales process
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI specialists, analytics teams, and delivery leads
• Manage requirements lifecycle and solution scope, applying prioritization and change management
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and plan effective communication strategies
