Job summary

Hitachi Energy Kraków is seeking a Specialist to support general accounting and internal reporting across IFRS standards. You will prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, close cycles, and collaborate with AP/AR/GA to ensure accurate classifications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years in general accounting, IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel with SAP/Tagetik/Blackline experience. Fluent English and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in General Accounting or Financial Reporting.
Strong understanding of IFRS.
Proficiency in SAP, Tagetik, Blackline and advanced Excel.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS and local principles.
Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Collaborate with AP, AR, GA, and Front Office to ensure proper accounting classification.
Assist in statutory financial statements and tax filings.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure data integrity.
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations.
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and participate in finance projects.
Develop and support improvements in accounting processes for reporting efficiency.
Monitor changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
