Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Kraków is seeking a Financial Accountant to perform general ledger bookings, reconciliations, and external reporting in line with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, and other standards. The role supports local, regional, and global projects, with a proactive, flexible approach.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of accounting experience, a Finance/Economics degree, strong Excel and SAP knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Practical accounting experience in GL / financial audit or financial reporting.
Finance and Accounting, Economy or equivalent academic degree.
Good knowledge of Excel and financial system (SAP as preferred).
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
English skills – spoken and written at fluent level.

Responsibilities

Calculate and perform general ledger bookings and account reconciliation.
Provide Group and external reporting (BS, P&L, Supplementary information to financial statement).
Perform Intercompany reconciliation and postings.
Perform various closing activities including interfaces to Sub ledger.
Support/collaborate in projects such as Group Chart of Accounts changes.
Maintain contact with stakeholders and execute ICFR controls.
