About the role:

The Transition Functional Lead, Procurement is accountable for end-to-end delivery of transition waves within the assigned functional scope. You will ensure that scope, timelines, stage-gate criteria, and execution commitments are met. You will act as the main link between business teams and GCM delivery teams, owning functional readiness from design validation through stabilization, aligning business requirements with GCM execution standards, and helping maintain continuity of critical operations throughout the transition.

How you will contribute:

• Work closely with the assigned BU/BF business teams to define and validate transition and transformation scope, build impact assessments, and create clarity on key responsibilities and actions
• Validate and provide functional input into the transition approach and wave sequencing for the assigned BU/BF\
• Participate in design validation to confirm that the proposed GCM operating model and service design meet functional business needs
• Identify and upscale BU/BF-specific risks, dependencies, and constraints to the GCM Transition Lead
• Own end-to-end delivery of the assigned transition wave, making sure scope, timelines, and commitments are met
• Drive execution across transition planning, knowledge transfer, ramp-up, go-live, and stabilization phases
• Represent BU/BF and help ensure continuity of critical business operations during transition
• Own functional readiness and acceptance for the transition wave
• Ensure the availability of subject matter experts and timely completion of knowledge transfer activities, documentation, and sign-offs
• Confirm operational readiness across people, process, technology, and controls before ramp-up and go-live
• Act as the primary point of coordination between business teams and GCM delivery teams
• Support stage-gate reviews and provide inputs for the go or no-go decision
• Oversee stabilization and hypercare activities to help ensure service performance meets agreed service levels and key performance indicators
• Support the handover into steady-state operations

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of experience in business operations, functional leadership, shared services, or large-scale transformation programs within global organizations
• Proven experience leading end-to-end transition waves or major operational change initiatives, including transition planning, knowledge transfer, ramp-up, go-live, and stabilization phases
• Strong understanding of transition methods and frameworks, including transition planning, knowledge transfer, ramp-up, go-live, and stabilization phases
• Ability to apply stage-gate criteria, readiness assessments, and governance requirements at wave level
• Solid financial and commercial judgment, with the ability to manage transition costs, assumptions, and value realization
• Experience or working knowledge of Commercial, Supply Chain, Research and Development, or Finance functions is preferred, depending on the assigned group
• Strong coordination skills in highly matrixed, global organizations
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive execution in complex, time-sensitive transitions
• Results-focused approach with strong attention to delivery commitments and accountability
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluent in English

Lodz, Poland Base Salary Range: zł328,000.00 - zł451,000.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
