As a part of the Fund Accounting Domain within HFS & FA Department, your aim will be to lead the NAV Valuation Team and manage deliverables for our clients. The position will give you the unique opportunity to work on complete end-to-end fund accounting/valuation processes.
Fund Accounting Team Leader (NAV)
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Valuations or similar
- Minimum 1 year of experience in leading the Team
- Practical knowledge and thorough understanding of NAV production cycle, various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions)
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of various Corporate Actions
- University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields
- Great communication skills, with English at least on C1 level
- Ability to identify, recommend and implement improvements to existing processes
- Highly motivated and engaged with strong accountability and client focused mindset
Responsibilities
As Team Leader NAV Calculation Team, you will be responsible for managerial and production control activities, in particular:
- Managing Team of approximately 10 members, including but not limited to:
- Conducting annual performance appraisals and provide regular feedback based on goals for direct reports
- Conducting teams\' performance management and set career development goals and training plans
- Planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflow, be able to flexibly arrange work among the team
- Reviewing and supporting team\'s daily deliverables including NAV review, bookkeeping, distributions and financial statements (balance sheet/income statement and other required financial documents)
- Monitoring daily operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness targets are met, establishing remediation plans if needed
- Ensuring all controls and procedures are properly established, propose recommendations for process modifications if required
- Building collaborative inter-departmental relationships to achieve business goals
- Working on other ad hoc projects or special tasks assigned
