Job summary

HS Financial Technologies is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor in Kraków to lead and mentor a team of up to four Fund Accountants, ensuring timely NAV calculations and accurate reconciliations. The role involves reviewing cash, positions, market values, pricing, corporate actions, and P&L to maintain high-quality financial reporting.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to internal controls, with collaboration across internal teams and client-facing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a hedge fund administration firm.
• Intention to actively pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA).
• IT literate and proficient with common accounting systems.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and well organized.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Review cash, position and market value reconciliations.
• Identify and address break items on reconciliations.
• Review fund pricing and corporate actions.
• Review profit and loss reports for reasonableness.
• Review income and expense accruals including fee and trading accruals.
• Review fund trial balance and profit allocations to investors.
• Ensure compliance with HSFT checklists, procedures and controls.
• Escalate fund accounting issues per procedures.
