Job summary

TMF Group is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to support the Senior Manager in managing service delivery for complex alternative investment fund structures. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and the audit process across a portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge, fund accounting experience, and the ability to lead and train junior staff.

Qualifications

Hold a Degree in a relevant discipline or a professional accounting qualification.
Extensive knowledge of fund accounting (Private Equity/Real Estate preferred).
Strong experience in reviewing financial statements and reports.
Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Experience with an investment accounting system (Investran).

Responsibilities

Review management accounts, financial statements and reports for a portfolio of fund structures as final reviewer.
Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
Coordinate audit process and respond to queries.
Plan workload and manage deliverables under supervision.
Review work of junior team members and provide guidance.
Communicate status to Senior Accounting Manager/Manager.
Maintain accuracy and timely accounting data for clients.
Support process improvements and staff training.
Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.
