Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION in Kraków seeks a Subject Matter Expert to supervise fund accounting and administration for hedge funds and private equity. You will oversee pricing, trade booking, reconciliation, liquidity, and audits while leading a team and ensuring data quality for clients.

The role requires at least 3 years in fund accounting, strong securities knowledge, and excellent English. Office presence is expected, with a broad benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in Fund Accounting or similar financial industry.
  • Experience in securities valuation and hedge/private equity funds.
  • Finance or accounting degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily pricing, trade booking and reconciliation.
  • Oversee liquidity process and securities setup.
  • Support audits with data and responses.
  • Coordinate on-the-job training and staff development.
  • Identify issues and drive corrective actions.

These services are fully integrated to provide complete end-to-end solutions that span the front-, middle- and back-office requirements of institutional investors.Join us if making your mark in the alternative investment industry from day one and servicing E2E clients is a challenge you are up for.Your new roleAs a Fund Accounting & Administration Supervisor within Centralized Pricing & Registration Services Team you will:Service some of the largest Hedge and Private Market Funds in the worldSupervise the daily pricing, trade booking and reconciliation processSupervise the liquidity processAssist in preparation and review of the securities set upWork with different types of securitiesSupport new clients’ launchingAssist Managers in semi-annual & annual audits by providing answers and required data according to the auditors requests.Provide client serviceSupport Managers in day-to-day service delivery: identify issues, track errors and client’s complaints and propose necessary corrective actionsBe active in making enhancements to the daily operating model; take the responsibility in supporting project, migrationsCoordinate On-The-Job training for staff members and assist the Manager with staff development and succession planningDuring the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating proceduresWhat we valueDesired skills, qualifications and previous experience:Minimum 3 years in Fund Accounting or similar financial industryExperience in securities valuationFinance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an assetStrong technical knowledge of hedge and private equity securitiesSecurities structures understanding and ability to recognize details from the offering documentsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and goal-orientedAbility to perform effectively within strict daily deadlinesEnthusiastic leadership skills and ability to engage others.Ambition to succeed and forge a long term career in one of the largest Funds Servicing companies in the worldFluent command of EnglishAdvanced knowledge of MS ExcelOwner’s mindsetAdditional requirementsThe position requires office presence at least 3 days per weekMinimum Salary:zł87,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
