Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking an AIS PERA Fund Accountant to join our team responsible for reporting for Private Equity or Real Assets fund clients. You will calculate net asset values, ensure accurate prices, and deliver timely results while acting as the central point of contact for accounting support and client interactions.

The role involves collaborating with global partners, resolving discrepancies, and supporting training of team members.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• PC literate and proficient with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Basic understanding of fund administration is useful but not essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Calculating Net Asset Value ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Comparing and confirming account balances per trial balance to subsidiary ledgers, researching discrepancies.
• Ensuring timelines are adhered to.
• Preparing capital call and distribution calculations and notices to investors.
• Preparing periodic bank and cash reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Preparing quarterly management fee calculations.
• Preparing waterfall calculations and capital account allocations.
• Resolving review points and keeping management updated on progress.
• Training and development of other team members as necessary.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
• Participating in special client or internal projects as required.
