Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack QA Engineer (Python) for a project enhancing data science solutions and ensuring the quality and performance of machine learning models. The role focuses on backend testing, API validation, and end-to-end quality across data pipelines.

The candidate will work with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices to analyze logs, improve test coverage, and support Kafka/Kibana integrations in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience focused on backend testing with Python (Pytest).
• Proficient with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes principles.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and log analysis with Open Lens or similar.
• Experience with Kafka and Kibana, or quick willingness to learn.
• Tests RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Team player with good communication.
• English level: Intermediate+ or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services.
• Test APIs (RESTful and gRPC) and verify data pipelines.
• Analyze logs and monitor system performance.

Must-haves:

• Experience in QA, predominantly in backend testing, with strong proficiency in Python (Pytest) for writing and maintaining automated test scripts for 3+ years.
• Proficient in working with Linux and related tools; solid knowledge of Bash scripting.
• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes principles, basic CI/CD knowledge, and the ability to analyse backend service logs, including using Open Lens or similar tools.
• Experience with Kafka and Kibana or a willingness to quickly learn them.
• Skilled in testing RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Basic proficiency in SQL.
• Good understanding of client-server and/or microservice architecture.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Familiarity with the basics of Machine Learning
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
