Job summary

Diverse Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Java Developer in Poland to design, develop, test, and maintain complex applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL.

You will build microservices and RESTful APIs, ensure OWASP-aligned secure coding, and collaborate in an Agile environment while advancing CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Angular frontend development.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities including SAST and container scans.
• Familiarity with OWASP security principles and secure coding practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good command of English (minimum B1+/B2).

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development, including hands-on experience in developing and testing applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Solid experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Angular Material for frontend development
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and relational databases using SQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized application environments
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, including findings from SAST and container security scans
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP security principles
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to explore and adopt AI-powered solutions
• Good command of English (minimum B1+/B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in the banking, commercial cards, or payments domain
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management processes
• Knowledge of application performance optimization, monitoring, and observability tools
• Experience providing technical mentoring, coaching, or supporting other developers in adopting engineering best practices
