Job summary

Vmsoftwarehouse is seeking a capable Fullstack Engineer with strong German language skills to join a long-term project in the education sector for the DACH market. You will develop backend microservices using Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Hibernate, MaríaDB, and contribute to the frontend with Angular and TypeScript.

The role offers remote work with occasional visits to the client, international collaboration, and opportunities for growth, training, and working with AI-enabled projects.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of German (minimum C1).
• Experience with Java 21.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot 3.
• Experience with Hibernate.
• Knowledge of MariaDB databases.
• Experience with microservice architectures.
• Frontend experience with Angular.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications based on microservices.

About the project

You will join a long-term project carried out for an organization from the German education sector. The project focuses on the development and maintenance of systems supporting processes related to language exams and user support on the client side.

Tasks

• Developing backend applications based on microservices
• Working with Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Hibernate and MariaDB
• Developing and maintaining the frontend layer in Angular
• Working with TypeScript and applications based on Angular 7 and Angular 18
• Cooperating with the development team on the Polish and German side
• Participating in requirements analysis and ongoing project communication in German
• Ensuring the quality, stability and further development of delivered solutions

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of German — minimum C1
