Job summary

Traffit is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join an international team developing software for the aviation industry, with Python backend and React frontend. The role covers API design, testing, and delivery in a hybrid setup based in Gdańsk.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA, participate in code reviews, and work with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with a Python web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Experience with unit and integration testing (pytest, Jest, Testing Library, Cypress).
• Experience with Git and code review workflows.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Helm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python and modern web frameworks.
• Own features end-to-end from design to delivery.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for frontend and backend.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and standard branching workflows.
• Work in Docker-based development environments and collaborate with DevOps/OS teams.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and continuous improvement.
