Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a backend developer in Warsaw to design and implement RESTful Node.js APIs for multi-role workflows and admin impersonation. You will also build invoice management features, spend tracking, and data integration with SendGrid, e-signature, Twilio, and sanctions APIs.

The role requires 3+ years in backend Node.js, some Vue.js experience, and a strong grounding in banking/compliance. You will collaborate with frontend developers on Vue.js admin views and CRM-like tables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development with Node.js.
• Fundamental Vue.js experience to support full-stack CRUD development.
• Experience in Banking/Compliance/Audits domain.
• Strong experience building REST APIs, state machines, and background/cron jobs.
• Strong PostgreSQL/Supabase skills, including schema design, query optimization, and Row Level Security (RLS).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, including SendGrid, Twilio, e-signature, and Sanctions APIs.
• Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Responsibilities

• Design RESTful APIs in Node.js for multi-role user flows and Admin Impersonation feature.
• Implement invoice lifecycle management, API triggers for drag-and-drop CSV imports, and automated Billing Export CSV generation.
• Develop APIs for budget item calculations, plan versioning, note updates, and spend-versus-budget tracking with FMS notifications.
• Build calculation engines and automated background checks for document expiration tracking, sanctions screening, and blocking invoice approvals for non-compliant vendors.
• Integrate SendGrid for transactional emails, SMS notifications for approval alerts, and external e-Signature services.
• Implement event-driven audit logging and server-side PDF generation for Audit Defence reports.
• Assist the Frontend Developer by supporting Vue.js admin views, dynamic tables, and form components.

Our customer is a cloud software provider.

The project is focused on migrating customers to a modern cloud-based contract and vendor management platform.

Responsibilities:

• Designing RESTful APIs in Node.js for multi-role user flows (Vendors, Approvers, FMS) and build authorization logic for the Admin Impersonation feature.
• Implementing invoice lifecycle management (status flows, entry duplication, manual entry), API triggers for drag-and-drop CSV imports, and automated generation of Billing Export CSV files.
• Developing APIs for budget item calculations, plan versioning, note updates, and automated spend-versus-budget tracking with FMS notifications.
• Building calculation engines and automated background checks (daily, monthly, annually) for document expiration tracking, sanctions screening, and blocking invoice approvals for non-compliant vendors.
• Integrating SendGrid for transactional emails, SMS notifications for approval alerts, and external E-Signature services.
• Implementing event-driven audit logging (triggered by FMS Approval/Payment) and server-side PDF generation for single and bulk Audit Defence reports.
• Assisting the primary Frontend Developer by supporting secondary Vue.js admin views, dynamic tables, and form components.
