Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join a project in investment banking. You will bring strong Python backend development, with hands-on React and TypeScript, building secure, production-ready applications and scalable APIs.

You will work on AI-enabled features, integrating LLMs, RAG, and agent workflows, while ensuring secure, maintainable delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python backend development building services and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and async programming where relevant.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript; collaborating on API contracts.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, testing, debugging and source control.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases; efficient queries and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions using LLM APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted apps, containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Awareness of secure development, secrets management and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain secure, scalable backend services and APIs, primarily using Python.
• Deliver production-quality code with CI/CD, testing, code reviews and documentation.
• Integrate services with internal platforms and third‑party APIs; manage auth, resilience and errors.
• Build and support AI-enabled features with LLMs, RAG, prompts and agent workflows.
• Ensure AI solutions include evaluation, guardrails and human oversight for reliability and safety.
• Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues using logs and metrics.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and engineering to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and realistic time estimates.
• Stay updated on engineering, AI and security practices and apply them pragmatically.
