Job summary

Smartedge Solutions seeks a dynamic engineering leader to drive Internal Developer Platforms and Hosting Platforms, including on-prem and cloud, with a polyglot skillset and strong API experience. The role covers coordinating global teams, delivering in small iterations, and maturing offshore engineering groups.

You will report to senior stakeholders, manage cross-functional partners, and ensure clear recruitment analytics.

Job description

Understand Technology Platforms - Internal Developer Platforms and Hosting Platforms, Internal and Cloud.

• Engineering skills – Experience in several languages, Polyglot. Database and schemas, API development, basic understanding of Linux and web technologies. Experience in deploying within Client would be helpful but not essential.
• Iterative technology delivery - Delivering in small iterations to deliver value faster
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner.
• Leadership – Demonstrating technical leadership across global teams, located in diverse geographic locations, across time-zones, and maturing offshore teams of engineers.
• Stakeholder management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player, with extensive leadership and senior stakeholder management experience.
• Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
• Reporting and presenting skills. You must know how to analyse and present recruitment data in a clear manner.
