Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our agile team building social casino games. You will contribute to end-to-end feature development across frontend and backend, blending startup energy with established strengths.

You will implement frontend features in JavaScript for iOS, Android, and Web, and craft PHP-backed services powering gameplay, LiveOps, and player progression. You’ll optimize performance and collaborate with Product to deliver impactful experiences globally.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript in production environments.
• Experience building backend services in a live environment.
• Experience crafting and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end feature development for social and gameplay systems.
• Own features from concept through release and monitoring.
• Implement frontend functionality in JavaScript for iOS, Android, and Web.
• Compose backend services and APIs in PHP to power gameplay and LiveOps.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs consumed by client applications.
• Contribute to data modeling and persistence for progression, rewards, and events.
• Improve backend efficiency to handle high concurrency and large player populations.
• Ensure features are reliable, testable, and production-ready.
• Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on player behavior.
• Translate concepts into scalable systems and foster inclusive engineering culture.
• Proactively improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices.
