Deel is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale our global payroll and HR platform. You’ll work across frontend and backend, designing robust APIs, data models, and client components using TypeScript, React, and Express.

Participate in product planning (From discovery all the way to deployment); We want your input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle!

Fully own the development of features on the client, server, service, and database

The bits and bytes that you’ll bring to your new team:

You will develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Javascript, React, Express. Experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus.
You will design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic using mainly Express framework
You will create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests to interact with your server-side work
You will create and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres.
You will build reusable and modular components on both the front and back end that promote code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
You will perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
You will stay updated with emerging web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance development processes.
You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality standards.
You will communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools.

You're The Engineer We're Looking For If You

At least 4 years of Full-Stack experience, with a focus on TypeScript development.
Expert in the art of designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the tech listed above.

Extra Brownie Points If You

Have experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on a major cloud vendor.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library) and automated testing methodologies (Cypress).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
