Job summary

Deel is seeking a proactive Associate OBM to lead onboarding for clients and build durable relationships that enable long-term success. You will act as the client's trusted advisor during onboarding and champion Deel’s products internally to expand each client’s usage.

You will drive on-time onboarding through strong project management of stakeholders, mitigating risks and ensuring a high-quality client experience across the deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding projects for clients from start to finish.

Summary

You’ll be the face and voice of Deel for our clients, both internally and externally. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for onboarding Clients and setting them up for durable relationships with Deel to enable long‑term success. You will serve as our client’s trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance during the onboarding phase on operational and product‑related issues. Simultaneously, you will be an internal advocate for clients with Deel by championing new products and capabilities to facilitate the expansion of each client’s business with Deel. You will facilitate on‑time onboarding through project management of all stakeholders involved.

Responsibilities

• Accounts: The Associate OBM will be responsible for handling accounts that have lower/medium complexity onboarding requirements.
• Risk: Identify and flag risks that will lead to delayed onboarding.
• Onboarding: Be the source of knowledge for the customer for the products they are looking to onboard. Build a relationship with the customer to set them up for success with Deel.
• Product: Be the voice of the customer by collecting product and operational feedback and sharing it with relevant internal stakeholders
• Responsible for providing a high‑quality experience to our customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely response and completion of customer requests.
• Lead each onboarding as a project, coordinating with all stakeholders internal and external making sure that all parties involved in the project are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing, implementation or onboarding
• You have a minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience, including client‑facing experience
• Have previous experience in at least one of the following: fast‑growth startup, consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• A relationship builder who remains calm and collected when facing crisis or criticism and celebrates partners’ successes with them
• Demonstrate understanding of project management principles and ability to lead projects to completion successfully
• A reliable, motivated self‑starter with a passionate growth mentality. You enjoy fast‑paced environments, aren’t deterred by setbacks or pivots, and thrive in roles requiring a very high degree of responsibility
• Have a strong analytical foundation with the ability to manipulate and synthesize data
• Are curious by nature and interested in making an impact

• Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On‑Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
• Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market‑aligned conversion.
• Final pay is based on objective, job‑related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
