Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with an architectural mindset for a leading natural resources client. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernizing an existing trading platform, and you will drive technical design decisions while staying hands-on in development.

The role is long-term, requires close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, and offers opportunities to influence end-to-end solutions, from frontend to backend,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience and senior design capability.
• Architectural design level with strong frontend and backend skills.
• Proficient in Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS and Java Core, Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, unit testing, and Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration.
• University degree in Engineering or CS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design and drive architectural decisions across frontend and backend.
• Assess requirements and provide development estimates.
• Translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with customer and team, proposing scalable improvements.
• Deliver high-quality code changes on schedule.
• Support post-go-live 3rd-level development and collaborate on new payment system web implementation.
• Coordinate with BA, QA, and other teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Provide regular updates on progress and technical risks.
• Act as a senior team member and mentor others.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong architectural mindset for our client, one of the world's largest natural resource companies. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernizing an existing trading platform.

This is a long-term engagement requiring close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, implementation of new features, and driving technical design decisions across the platform. The team currently has sufficient delivery capacity, but what is needed is an additional senior expert who can properly design solutions, define technical approaches, and support architectural decisions while remaining hands-on in development.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of solution design and support architectural decisions across frontend and backend areas
• Assess business requirements and provide development estimates
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions with the customer and within the team, proposing improvements, best practices, and scalable solutions
• Deliver high-quality code changes according to agreed timelines
• Support post-go-live 3rd-level development activities and collaborate with customer developers on the new web implementation of the payment system
• Work closely with BA, QA, and other development teams to deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Provide regular updates regarding development progress and technical risks
• Act as a senior member of the project team and provide strong support to other team members

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Senior profile with the ability to work at an architectural design level
• Strong technical skills in Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Strong technical skills in Java Core, Spring Boot
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and engineering practices
• Proven experience in designing modern web applications and large-scale business-critical systems
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, unit testing, and Agile development environments
• Strong ability to steer technical discussions with the customer and within the team
• Strong communication skills and openness to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
