Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Warsaw, Poland seeks a Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain user-facing components. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions using Angular, TypeScript, and Angular Material.

You will write unit and E2E tests with Cypress, participate in Scrum events, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of professional frontend/backend development experience as stated in qualifications.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Role overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will play pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of user-facing components of our software solutions. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers to ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and future-ready. We encourage the use of Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot to boost innovation and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive applications with Angular, TypeScript, and Angular Material.

Qualifications

Frontend Development:

• Expertise in Angular 2+, TypeScript, RxJS

• Proficiency in Node.js

• Proficiency with Angular Material

• Experience in Cypress for E2E Testing

• Cloud native application development

• Understanding of modern IAM concepts including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC

• Proficiency in Git & GitHub

• Understanding of REST APIs

• Knowledge of writing cross-browser compatible code

Soft Skills

• Strong English communication (B2/C1 level)

• Proven experience in enterprise environments

• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a distributed team

Value-Add / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Java backend integration

• Event-driven architecture & Kafka

• Microservices architecture principles

• Python scripting

• Experience with JIRA or similar tools

• Logging & monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 5 years professional backend development experience; or

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years professional backend development experience
