Job summary

Holzland Becker is seeking a frontend developer to design and build modern, high-performance user interfaces for our Europe-wide home and garden shops. You will focus on performance, UX and scalable frontend architecture.

You will work with Vue.js and Nuxt, collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers, and translate requirements into concrete technical plans and estimates. Strong English or German skills are required to succeed in our multilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of Vue.js and Nuxt is preferred.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Shopware is a plus.
• Proficient in German or English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, high-performance and user-friendly user interfaces for our Europe-wide online shops
• Continuously improve and optimize frontend architecture, especially using Vue.js and Nuxt
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product owners and stakeholders
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical concepts, implementation plans and effort estimates
• Optimize performance of existing systems with a focus on loading times, Core Web Vitals and conversion rates
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing and clean architecture

• Design and develop modern, high-performance and user-friendly user interfaces for our Europe-wide online shops

• Continuously improve and optimize our frontend architecture, especially using Vue.js and Nuxt

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product owners and stakeholders

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical concepts, implementation plans and effort estimates

• Enthusiasm for modern web technologies, performance optimization and UX

• Very good German skills or fluent English
