sun.store, Europe’s leading B2B marketplace for photovoltaic products, seeks a Frontend Developer to join a small team in Warsaw on a hybrid basis. You will build and optimize the Nuxt 4 / Vue 3 frontend, focusing on performance, SEO, and real-time features with Pusher and Algolia.

You will shape architecture, own features from requirement to delivery, and collaborate with backend and design to ensure high-quality product delivery. Polish not required; English communications essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vue 3, the Composition API and TypeScript with strict type checking.
• Production experience with Nuxt 3 or 4, including SSR and server-side logic.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of web performance and technical SEO.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Nuxt 4 / Vue 3 application including listings, search, and dashboards.
• Own frontend performance and SEO across public pages (SSR, Core Web Vitals, bundle size).
• Deliver features for a B2B marketplace across Europe.

Frontend Developer (Nuxt / Vue.js / TypeScript)

sun.store is Europe's leading B2B marketplace for photovoltaic products. Installers, distributors and wholesalers across Europe use our platform to buy and sell solar panels, inverters and batteries.

Beyond the marketplace, we offer complementary services covering logistics, financing through sun.finance, and market intelligence through PV.index.

Our frontend brings all these services together in a multilingual platform available in seven languages and used daily by professional buyers and sellers across Europe.

Position: Frontend Developer (Nuxt 4 / Vue 3 / TypeScript)

Warsaw, Poland · Hybrid (1 day per week in the office)

Compensation: 12,000–15,000 PLN per month, depending on experience and agreed terms.

Why this role matters

We're looking for a frontend engineer to join our small team as its second frontend developer. This is a high-ownership role where you'll have a direct impact on product quality, performance and architecture from day one.

We're running a modern stack and recently upgraded to Nuxt 4. We keep our dependencies up to date, but there's still plenty of room to make things better — from performance and test coverage to developer tooling and architecture.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, spotting opportunities for improvement and turning them into practical solutions.

What you'll do

Build and evolve our Nuxt 4 / Vue 3 application, including offer listings, search, negotiation chat, checkout, and seller and admin dashboards.

Own frontend performance and technical SEO across our public pages, including SSR, Core Web Vitals, bundle size, image optimisation, sitemaps and structured data.

Deliver features for a B2B marketplace used by professionals across Europe.

Build and maintain real-time features with Pusher, Algolia-powered search and recommendations, and data-intensive tables and charts.

Improve code quality and developer experience by introducing unit testing alongside our Playwright E2E suite, modernising tooling and reducing technical debt.

Work closely with our designer, Laravel backend team and business stakeholders to turn product requirements into reliable solutions.

Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape our long-term technology choices.

What you'll bring

3+ years of commercial frontend development experience.

Strong knowledge of Vue 3, the Composition API and TypeScript with strict type checking.

Production experience with Nuxt 3 or 4, including SSR, hydration challenges, route rules and server-side logic in Nitro.

Experience integrating REST APIs.

A solid understanding of web performance and technical SEO.

Experience building complex, stateful interfaces with Pinia.

The ability to work independently, take ownership and make well-reasoned technical decisions.

Good English communication skills. Polish is not required.

Nice to have

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Vuetify 3 and Nuxt UI.

PWA development or mobile applications.

Algolia, including InstantSearch and autocomplete.

Internationalisation (i18n) in multilingual applications.

Playwright and Vitest.

Real-time interfaces using WebSockets or Pusher.

Rich-text editors such as Tiptap or ProseMirror.

Vercel deployments and Sentry.

Marketplaces, e-commerce or B2B platforms.

What we offer

Competitive compensation: 12,000–15,000 PLN per month, depending on experience and agreed terms.
