Job summary

Orange Polska is seeking a Financial Controller within the GSP Finance, Performance and Development team in Kraków to support two departments of Orange Innovation (headquarters + IT). The role focuses on purchase cycle management, monthly closings, and ensuring data integrity between Clarity and Oracle.

It requires proficiency in French and strong analytical capabilities. You will work with operational staff and controllers to prepare expenditure committees, analyze data, and ensure accurate

Qualifications

• Proficiency in French is required.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial techniques with experience in controlling.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Proficiency in management applications (Oracle, Reporting tools) and office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with advanced Excel data modeling.
• Proactive approach to automation and new tools.
• Rigor and organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and maintain diplomacy.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare expenditure committees.
• Coordinate upstream phase with operational staff (schedule communications and reminders).
• Support operational staff to fill in data in the tool.
• Extract purchase requests before committees to enable budgetary control and synthesize information for committees.
• Participate in committees with controllers.
• Follow up on decisions and create post‑decision purchase orders as needed.
• Validate purchase requests (>€25k; Level 2).
• Check accounting key and track consumption.
• Ensure consistency between time tracking tool (Clarity) and Oracle (service delivery).
• Conduct monthly closing activities and determine monthly service delivery with operational staff and controllers.
• Request Oracle / PO / invoices to calculate provisions and send ODs to accounting.
