Job summary

Stryker is hiring a Buyer in Warszawa for an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will manage supplier relationships, maintain inventory availability, and drive operational excellence in a global supply chain.

You will collaborate with multiple functions to support customer service and manufacturing performance. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in MRP are required; English and French fluency are essential, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an MRP environment.
Fluent in English and French.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain material availability and support customer service targets.
Place purchase orders and maintain accurate order and delivery dates within the ERP system.
Monitor inventory receipts and proactively resolve supply issues to ensure on-time material availability.
Analyze material requirements and adjust purchasing plans based on demand and planning reviews.
Collaborate with suppliers to understand planning and capacity processes and align supply with business requirements.
Expedite or defer orders to balance material availability while supporting inventory targets.
Generate and communicate purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance metrics to key stakeholders.
Partner with Supply Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Customer Service, Transportation, and Distribution teams to support initiatives and process improvements.
