Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a detail-oriented purchasing specialist for a fixed-term 18-month assignment in Poland. You will manage purchasing for an assigned portfolio, place orders, monitor deliveries and resolve supply issues to keep material availability high.

Required: bachelor’s degree in business or related field, at least 2 years in an MRP environment, fluent in English and French, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems. Polish pay range: PLN 101,300–169,000 annually.

What You Will Do

• Manage purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain material availability and support customer service targets.
• Place purchase orders and maintain accurate order and delivery dates within the enterprise resource planning system.
• Monitor inventory receipts and proactively resolve supply issues to ensure on‑time material availability.
• Analyze material requirements and adjust purchasing plans based on supply planning reviews and changing demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to understand planning and capacity processes and align supply with business requirements.
• Expedite or defer orders as needed to balance material availability while supporting inventory targets.
• Generate and communicate purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance metrics to key stakeholders.
• Partner with Supply Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Customer Service, Transportation, and Distribution teams to support business initiatives and continuous process improvements.

What You Will Need

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a material requirements planning (MRP) environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred

• Experience working with SAP.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting supplier performance management and inventory optimization activities.

Poland Pay Ranges:

• Poland: zł101.300 - zł169.000 PLN Annual
