Job summary

Paires is hiring a Founding AI Engineer to own the agent layer and the matching engine of an AI-first fundraising platform. You will build, scale, and run the core systems that research investors, draft outreach, and manage investor conversations end-to-end.

You should have shipped LLM-based systems to production and built end-to-end services with Python, embeddings, and data pipelines. This is a builder seat with equity potential, remote work, and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Have shipped LLM systems to production and have real examples you can walk us through.
• Have at least 3 years of shipping production software behind you, and have taken a full app from zero to production and kept it running.

Responsibilities

• Own the agent layer and the matching engine, end-to-end.
• Ship to production and scale the product as we grow.
• Build the Python backend, embeddings, and data pipelines.
• Design evals to ensure outputs are trustworthy and high quality.
• Take products from zero to production with rapid iteration.
