Job summary

Cavendish Professionals seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer to own end-to-end LLM-enabled applications and to drive architecture and MVP scaling for enterprise deployments.

You will embed with strategic customer teams across Europe, shaping API-led solutions, vector DB integrations, and orchestration pipelines, while delivering reusable SDKs and prompts to accelerate platform velocity.

• Full professional proficiency in English for daily collaboration across international teams.

Responsibilities

Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) | Python/Node, React & LLM Tooling | Enterprise AI-Native Solutions Remote | B2B Contract

Our client, a global consulting firm partnering with a world-leading enterprise PaaS provider, is looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer to spearhead high-impact, AI-native implementations. In this role, you won't just write code—you will act as the "CTO of the build", embedding directly with strategic enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy production-ready LLM applications from zero to one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning end-to-end delivery of production-ready, LLM-enabled applications across agile sprints, from backend orchestration to intuitive frontend interfaces.
• Acting as the "CTO of the build", driving architecture, implementation decisions, and scaling initial MVPs into enterprise-grade deployments.
• Embedding directly with strategic customer teams (with up to 30% travel across Europe/international) to diagnose root problems and build tailored AI solutions in live environments.
• Engineering across the entire stack—delivering robust APIs (REST/GraphQL), vector database integrations, LLM orchestration pipelines, and UI components.
• Codifying successful field engagements into reusable SDKs, prompts, libraries, and architectural scaffolds to raise engineering velocity across the platform.
• Debugging distributed systems, tuning latency, and ensuring enterprise-level security, observability, and cloud performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience, including 2+ years in customer-facing, consultative, or embedded technical roles.
• Strong consultant mindset: ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize user value, communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and balance rapid iterations with long-term scalability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery from scratch, earning trust across cross-functional teams, architects, and executive client leads.
• Full professional proficiency in English for daily collaboration across international and US-based teams.

Must-Haves:

• Strong full-stack engineering depth: Backend (Python, Node.js, or Java) and Frontend (React or Angular), along with modern REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Proven experience with LLM tooling and orchestration: LangChain, Semantic Kernel, vector search/databases, prompt chaining, and context management.
• Cloud and DevOps fluency: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid background in distributed systems architecture, latency tuning, and production observability/monitoring.
• Readiness to travel up to 30% for strategic client on-site workshops and milestones.

• 100% Remote working model (Poland) with readiness for up to 30% business travel (Europe)
