Job summary

GMV Spain is expanding its space sector team to work on the Flight Dynamics System for satellite missions. You will contribute to design of new FDS components and implement orbital mechanics algorithms. The role also includes validation campaigns and direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Experience developing orbital mechanics algorithms for trajectory optimization or orbit determination.
• Proficiency in English (C1) and Polish (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design new Flight Dynamics System components for satellite missions.
• Implement orbital mechanics algorithms to support new missions.
• Participate in validation campaigns, including on-site acceptance at the client’s facilities.
• Maintain client contact to understand their needs.
• Manage the warranty phase and provide bug fixes in new FDS versions as agreed with the client.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will participate in software development projects for the Flight Dynamics System (FDS) of several satellite missions. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the design of new FDS (Flight Dynamics System) components
• Implementing the orbital mechanics algorithms required to support new satellite missions
• Participating in validation campaigns, including on-site acceptance at the client’s facilities
• Maintaining contact with the client to understand their needs
• Managing the warranty phase, providing bug fixes in new FDS versions as agreed with the client

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for graduates with:

• A master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Experience in software design and development
• Experience developing algorithms related to relevant areas of orbital mechanics, such as trajectory optimization or orbit determination
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher)
• Proficiency in Polish (C1 level or higher)
